This weekend, I hosted a Homelessness Town Hall.  We discussed some of the efforts that state and local organizations are making to tackle the homeless crisis.  We also discussed concerns about homeless funding, housing prices, and homeless seniors.

Lila Omura, the Redondo Beach Housing Homeless Navigator, was awarded Woman of the Year for her work helping the homeless in Redondo Beach.

Thank you to the speakers: Ronson Chu of South Bay Cities Council of Governments, Darick Blackshere and Erik Vargas of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, Tahia Hayslet or Harbor Interfaith, Zulma Gent and Valerie Hernandez of City of Torrance CA Government Homeless Services, Mike Webb, Redondo Beach City Attorney, and Lila Omura, Redondo Beach Homeless Housing Navigator.
